An Air Operators Certificate (AOC) or Aerial Work Permit issued by the national Aviation Authority is a pre-requisite to operating helicopters commercially. Once issued, any variation to the types and numbers of helicopters operated, or to the types of operations carried out is likely to require an AOC or AW Permit variation.
Aer Consult is familiar with the process and requirements for obtaining an Air Operators Certificate or Aerial Work Permit from the aviation authority and for AOC Variations under JAR-OPS3.
We can advise your and assist your company with all applications for initial AOC or Permit, for subsequent variations, for specific approvals such as Low Level, Bambi Bucket, Aerial Photography, Pipeline Patrols, Power Line Inspections etc and for Quality Systems and Safety Management Systems.
Our services can include the compilation and amendment of the necessary manuals (please see Technical Writing).
